With a cat, a dog and hardwood floors throughout our house, it seemed the perfect solution to clean the floors. I thought you had to sweep the dirt into a pile, then the side of the broom to be used with the suction hole to ensure. It was easier to get the dust pan. This is not ideal for pet hair. It will sweep, but will not vacuuming pet hair. The concept is great - a cordless broom that sucks - but the product just does not do what it should. 15 of 16 people found this review helpful. I took it home and could not wait to use it! My first thought was that it looked very fresh and seemed easy to use. I put it together and had a little trouble to mount the handle.
