Seay I bought this relatively pricey combo vacuum with the hopes of replacing two other devices: our cordless Dustbuster and corded Hoover Stick Broom. Unfortunately the Electrolux usually sits in it charger unused as it just doesn't perform well. PROS: looks great, lightweight, very maneuverable around and under furniture, charging base has handy light that doubles as nightlight CONS: very weak suction, clogs easily, design flaws for removable handheld, tends to scatter dirt instead of collecting it We have 100% hardwood floors and tile/linoleum throughout the house, and our hope was to find a cordless upright that we could use for quick jobs of sucking up pet hair and dirt around entryway doors, etc. At first glance the Electrolux seemed the perfect fit: it was cordless but could be used on floors without having to bend over, and for tight spot jobs the removable handheld unit would negate the need for our Dustbuster Unfortuntely it just doesn't perform well at all. Even for light hair and dirt jobs the upright clogs far too easily. There is a piece of flexible tubing leading from the bottom of the vacuum to the handheld unit (the handheld snaps into place near the base and actually does the suction), and the angle of this narrow, flexible tubing is about 90 degrees and the smallest leaf or twig causes a clog. If the tubing is completely clear the suction is decent enough for very lightweight sweeping, but even at that point the spinning brush in the base of the upright unit tends to throw small debris aside before the suction can pull it up into the bag (for example, I've tried using it to clean up light amounts of stray litter debris around the cat box but it tends to just throw the litter around the floor instead of sucking it up) I find that compared to the Hoover I have to go over the same floor area with several more sweeps to and fro to get all of the hair and dirt. Other annoyances include the inability to empty the dirt collector without removing the handheld from the upright. Also the handheld power button will not stay in an On position without holding it tightly with a finger or thumb (when using as an upright the power will stay on by itself). The mouth opening of the handheld is also much smaller than your typical Dustbuster and even for small jobs takes several more sweeps back and forth to collect the same amount of dirt of just a few sweeps with a Dustbuster So overall I find myself using our two older vacuums and even going to the added trouble of putting an extension cord on the Hoover to do general house vaccuming instead of even bothering to pull the Electrolux out of its stand. Even though it's cordless it just seems to take longer and more effort to get the same amount of work done. It's basically not much more than an expensive nightlight for our laundry room. I really wish I had the good experience with it I seem to see other Amazon users reporting, but alas I cannot honestly say I feel this device delivers anywhere near what it promises. 29 of 29 people found the following review helpful. Great little vacuum By M. Baumann I have had the electrolux for several weeks now and it is wonderful. I live in a college dorm and the vacuum fits nicely in such a small space PROS It works well on the short carpet and the tile in my room. The built in dust buster is extremely handy for other surfaces in the room. The entire vacuum is lightweight and I like the color and design as well. The battery life seems to last an extremely long time. I vacuumed my enitre room with it several times before even noticing the power start to decline. CONS I would criticize this product for not gliding even better on carpet and also I have to clean the brush fairly often. I definately do not regret purchasing this item. This vacuum is by no means meant to replace your household vacuum,.

A strong Sweeper By Michael Kerner The people cleaning companies and Shark Euro-Pro has always known how to make great products with so many vacuum cleaners, sweepers and carpet. But when it comes down to it, is really the way the vacuum really holds. Shark cordless sweepers before they all did a fantastic job to pick up after pies every day, but were a few mistakes. I was frankly very skeptical of the latest model when I saw it on TV and I loved it, but when I started using it, I had hoped for just a little 'more. Here is my verdict. Shark VX3 Cordless Sweeper is the latest in Euro-Pro well recieved carpet sweeper line. This does a good job of picking up pet hair and fuzz, and it is very easy to configure. You can actually take a lot of pet hair, fuzz, or anything from your floors and carpets. It is easy to refill, and it works really well. The no-mess dust cup is very simple to clean up, and easily removes all that was picked up from the floors The vacuum is also very easy to carry around, and take from room to room, without feeling the drag of carrying around your vacuum and getting a backache. That is what I think, even though there really are a few problems that still make could've been a bit easier to pick up after. The first problem deals with the battery. ou have to really keep the sweeper plugged in to your outelt for at least a day, inorder to fully charge a the battery. The VX3's battery also could've had a bit stronger battery life than just an hour long. The second problem deals with the backsaver feature. While the VX3 does pick up well, and is easy to operate, I had a tricky time manuvering the VX3 with the backsaver handle. While the concept is ingenius at folding the handle to make it easier at picking up under the beds and those hard-to-reach areas, it is honestly a little bit harder to control and steer the sweeper Still, despite a few problems with the Shark VX3 Cordless Sweeper, I still think it is a very good buy for anyone who wants a easier way to clean up after all those messes on the floor. It just does a great job at really cleaning up your floors and is great for small homes and apartments, or any home that works at a great pace. While you can get this though the As Seen On TV ads, you also can find this at your nearest Macy's for around $70, instead of getting both the VX3 and VX1 models like the infomercial says in its offer for $130. So, suck those problems on the floor away, and try this sweeper out. Useless for pet hair. :-( By Loren Gardner I was really optimistic about the Shark VX3 from the good reviews I'd read on Amazon and other sites about it Unfortunately it just did not meet my needs. I have two very hairy dogs and hard wood floors in my house. I was hoping to find a cordless that I could just pull out every day or two to keep on top of the hair bunnies. The Shark, however, only pushes and blows the hair around. It only picked up maybe half of it, and the rest is still floating around out there. However, it did pick up my black lab's entire choke collar. And a corner of my rug. Bottom line: if you like dropping pounds of screws on your floor and pretending you're on an infomercial, this vacuum is for you. If you'd rather pick up normal things like hair, dust, and dirt, don't bother with the Shark. 34 of 34 people found the following review helpful. Great for Bald People Who Don't Have Pets! By James Rose We purchased this sweeper in hopes that it would provide an easy way to sweep our laminate floors free of dog hair and kid debris Well, it does get the dog hair, but requires many passes. It ends up taking longer to sweep the floor with this sweeper than it would have to haul out the regular vacuum. It.

With a cat, a dog and hardwood floors throughout our house, it seemed the perfect solution to clean the floors. I thought you had to sweep the dirt into a pile, then the side of the broom to be used with the suction hole to ensure. It was easier to get the dust pan. This is not ideal for pet hair. It will sweep, but will not vacuuming pet hair. The concept is great - a cordless broom that sucks - but the product just does not do what it should. 15 of 16 people found this review helpful. By KarenFan I purchased this handy sweeper from Sears because I wanted something to pick up after the kids and our pets without having to lug the big vacuum out all the time just to clean up small messes. I was initially skeptical at first, but I knew I would be able to return it to Sears if I wasn't entirely satisfied. The setup and assembly was very quick. Just screw the wands together, attach it to the base, then charge it up. The first charge needs a full 16 hours to condition the batteries, thereafter the unit only needs 12 hours to recharge. I couldn't believe what this thing picked up. Everything from cat hair, litter, crumbs, and just about everything else that manages to find its way to the floor and carpet. Of course, sweepers aren't meant for big, hefty jobs, or for deep cleaning your carpets(this is a job for your vacuum), but they sure come in handy for in-between cleanups of small spills and messes However, it's important to remember that sweepers are *NOT* vacuums. They have NO suction. They are designed to "sweep" the surface of your carpet and floors for quick, light pick-ups. That being said, I've been completely let down by Dustbusters and all those other "handvacs" that really didn't do anything but make a bunch of noise and lose their power after about 10 minutes of use. After using this, I figure I should only need to thoroughly vacuum once or twice a week now, instead of the usual everyday vacuuming that I used to do... Bissell has designed a real winner here. I'm just curious to see how long the unit and the batteries will last. For some reason, they're still using old NiCad technology here, which is famous for developing the "memory effect" that renders them all but useless after about a year or so The manual also says the batteries are NOT replaceable and must be disposed of when the unit has reached its useful life... The sweeper has a one(1)year warranty, so we'll see how that works out. For now, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase, and would recommend this to anyone who needs a sweeper or simply wants a quick fix for lugging the main vacuum out all the time. Excellent product! 64 of 67 people found the following review helpful. Great for smooth, wood floors; mediocre for tile floors By Sheryl Miller We bought the sweeper based on its Consumer Reports rating and were a bit disappointed. We have three types of hard floors in our home: Pergo, tile with shallow grout, and tile with deep grout. The sweeper is perfect on the Pergo, okay on the tile with shallow grout, and only so-so on the tile with deep grout The suction is not strong enough to pick up the dirt in the deep grout. Regardless of the floor type, long hair gets wrapped around the rotating bristles and must be cleaned by hand. On a positive note, the profile of the cleaner is very short, making it a breeze to get under overhanging cabinets, beds, etc. 45 of 46 people found the following review helpful. Ehhh. Better off using a real broom. By A. Marcos I purchased this little sweeper because the reviews here and on consumer Reports were pretty good. The unit was very easy to assemble and doesn't take up as much room as the others. It also holds a nice charge. Here's the phooey part: 1. The side brushes stopped working after the 1st day. After they stopped working, the side brushes started hoarding the dirt rather than feeding it into the sweeper. Prior to my purchase, I was under the assumption that the side brushes were powered by the sweeper..but it really operates on a push\pull system. As you push the sweeper...the brushes rotate. On my second day, I was pushing and it was no longer moving. 2. The dirt bin\catcher is too small and difficult to clean. I purchased this unit specifically for sweeping up dog hair. It picks up most of the stuff I go over (NOT ALL)...and when I go to empty it out...I have to pull.

I have read dozens and dozens of comments on every imaginable type of hard floor surface cleaner. There seems to be two complaints about this rag ... short charging times, and he did not have the "hands and knees" clean word. Well, if you are what you always fucks anal on her hands and knees, more power to you! I wanted something that could clean the floor after a new puppy accidents, spills grandchildren and tracked in mud on a daily basis. It works fine rag! Can I clean my floor twice with a single charge (which is about 1600 square feet, not huge), and as far as the complaint about the water does not remain true hot news flash, if you use a antibiotical cleaner, you do 't need hot water. I have not had a track, collecting all the leaves and water the soil just moist. Apparently, some buyers are expected to leave the floor completely dry .. and how would it be managed? Built in the dryer? And no, it's not a vacuum, broom must sweep it first. But who does not sweep, mop before? For the money, I think it is a great solution to the problem. It is easy to fill, easy to empty and easy to store. I would (and have) recommend it to friends and family. If I had any suggestions for improvements, it would be brush on a 1 / 4 inches deep to get even better washing performance. 25 of 25 people found the following review helpful. Works fine on flat surfaces, but some restrictions of Melissa I bought this electric mop for a very specific purpose. I have a 3'x5 'area of my kitchen, wiping his daily needs. This is where my litter box and food is. Our cat eats an entirely raw food, which he usually gets raw meat on the floor where he had fought a chicken neck means. Come wash your everyday life is a pain. So I went looking for a solution I wanted was a machine to suck out the trash and mop the area. The only one I found that doing both was the Bissell Flip Eaze, the reviews were very mixed and used pads that I need to be ready. For these reasons I decided to pass. I also looked at Swiffer. I had a Swiffer wet mop back when they first came out. More likely would have worked very well for this project, but has a load permanent replacement pads cost around 0.30 per day. For my own use more than one year, which is ~ 100.00. After a weekend in search of other machines, I decided to go with the Hoover. I have a full size Hoover carpet cleaner and I am very happy. For what I bought this one, I am very happy. It handles easily in the morning cleaning the kitchen (which is linoleum) that I used to clean my entire kitchen (~ 200 square feet) and it works well. I have had good results with it on the plate in my laundry room also. But, it works well on tile in my foyer. Tile in my utility room is a 12-inch tile grout with a shallow and narrow. A little deeper than it would in most bathroom showers. Tile in my foyer is 9 ", with beveled edges and a deep and wide grout. Using electric mop is a bit narrower than the tile, which means that the wheels are running on the edge of what makes it difficult to use. While the suction is good on flat surfaces , it is not strong enough to draw water from deeper grout. Regarding battery life, which is about 20 minutes of use. If my plan is pretty clean, I can do my kitchen with a single charge, but the fight to the end and I must work fast. My sister has a larger area tiled and used his plan for cleaning the tongue, he said he did a good job, but she had to reload.

Have realistic expectations, you will not be disappointed with LawyerMom NOT buy this if you think it will replace the vacuum. I have one. Two years old and a very good vacuum in the hand that I ever use one week (although I probably should vacuum twice per week) for all the rubbish that occur in the middle (probably 2-3x daily), I use the Shark to make my life easier. I am currently a stay at home mom with a child and she leaves crumbs EVERYWHERE. We live in a small apartment, the dining room is a spitting distance of the living room and it's almost inevitable that children (my son, my son's friends, children of my friends ...) who muffins, snacks, cookies, and pretzels around the living room. I had the shark more because my daughter was afraid of loud noises and my regular vacuum, but have discovered that the nice bonus is that it is much easier to carry this out 2-3 times a day to pick up crumbs immediately after snack time (and thus prevent soil in the carpet) that to pull out my tongue Bissell Pro: It's easy, very quiet, pleasant and efficient way to collect crumbs visible if used correctly. Cons: Does not heavy or deep cleaning, the price tag be steep; Shark sweepers are known to break down after a few months to a year. My mom has an older version of shark sweeper, which is much quieter than this. She is a waitress, and uses it to clean the floor under the tables between customers. Of course, you are exposing it to use pretty heavy, and is now in its third. Their recommendations on what is past as possible: the sweeper cleaned thoroughly after multiple uses (including accumulated drag brushes hair wash and container harvesting) and charge the battery as directed (do not let sit for 19 hours charging will reduce battery life) The Shark VX3 is a bit stronger than yours. But I like the fact that there are two speeds (probably to the floor and carpet). Manage curves so you can push it under the furniture, which is a little help, but a bit clumsy and (to know that the shark sweeper handles are characterized by the break), I prefer none at all. The Shark VX3 has a small rotating brush on the side, which is supposed to pick up the crumbs as you press against the side of a wall, but I wish they had thought about putting a rotating brush on both sides. They also claim that you press a button and throw out the bottle, without ever having the dirt This is in theory affect the right, but in practice it often covers a catch or put dirt in the trash, you can shake it out - it's almost inevitably touching trash or debris. No big deal - just washing your hands afterward. Bottom line: do not expect to replace your vacuum. And here is the key to the sweeper can be used most effectively - and slowly push it again and again over the pile of crumbs that you want to pick up. I found that when the sweeper back and forth as fast as a regular vacuum cleaner, it tries to download something is not pushed, just around the dirt. If you found this review helpful, please let me know! 46 out of 47 people found the following review helpful. Calculated correctly and to the right job, it Sandrift This sweeper is not a substitute for a big vacuum cleaner, but it is a great complement to a vacuum. Half of the floors in our house is carpeted and the other half is hardwood or tile - I use the regular vacuum cleaner carpet areas, but I use the Shark for hardwood floors, kitchen and laundry areas of space on hard surfaces, Shark is good at picking up dead insects, bits of dry cat food, cat litter, bits of food and other visible debris and particles. I run it on low pile rugs on the higher speed setting, which makes it good (dresses are always a pain, even with a vacuum cleaner). I do not really use it.

The stick vacuum is covered by a one-year limited warranty. With the telescopic handle down, the vacuum measures 5-1/4 by 6-1/10 by 25-1/2 inches and weighs 3-4/5 pounds. --Jessica Reuling

I have a cat in my bathroom and I really do not like sweeping the kitty litter every day - the broom would kick up dust and I would always miss a bit of cat litter. I needed something small, light that I could drag and buzz around the bathroom (hard surface) with. This fits the bill perfectly. It's not really quiet, but not too bad. I do not like the rechargeable stick vacuums because my closet does not have an outlet, and I really do not want to omit it and look at the thing. In addition, wired and powerful stick vacuum cleaners are often not exhausted, but you have to put up with a cord. This stick vac is basically a Dustbuster with a telescopic handle and a removable (bare) floor brush. It's not going to compete with a regular vacuum cleaner, but for light cleaning (eg cat litter), it works fine. I also use it on low pile carpets just outside the bathroom door to pick up some stray cat litter and it is most of what I do not think you want to use on thick carpet or for large areas especially in light of the floor nozzle, no brush - it is really designed for hard floors. It does what I need - no more kicking the dust and not litter in the bathroom (I use it every day). I am satisfied with my purchase. 34 of 34 people found the following review helpful. Better than full size. Because I CynBio through three full-sized VACS looking as good as this - my oldest, elite vacuum cleaner bag was so good at vacuuming, but much heavier. Both Hoover I have bought since then, with and without bags, are not half as good at getting up the dog and cat litter. So now I buy just one second from the bottom Boss. He also runs the couch cushions and other furniture - the only thing that does not do is go into every corner, as it has attachments I use this vacuum several times a week, because there is no "pull" or "TV network Cable "or other headaches to deal with - fifteen minutes, and the work is done. I would not recommend. 31 of 31 people found this review helpful. Good for Quick-vac pickup deserves four stars from Anrol is a complete revision of an earlier study in which I complained about the noise and dust are difficult to reach Cup - would now give it 4 stars but apparently not 'm not allowed to change my initial note in a "modification". Once I learned to the press at all, I find the cap is easily accessible. He did a good job to collect the cat hair and bits / pieces of the surface of the carpet and wood, glass powder contains a much larger number than I would have expected from a gap of this size. So light - easy to grip, a closet and give the house once more he would have given 5 stars if it were not so loud - I can wear earplugs when running. People seem to expect this vacuum to replace a full size carpet is being unreasonable - this is done a great job for what is intended. See all 56 customer reviews ....

I wanted to replace my cordless sweeper shark took place. The Dirt Devil was weaker than the shark. Does not recover well. All top of the sweeper was covered in dust after using it, what ever happened to the shark. It was hard to turn on and off with your foot as compared to the shark. The latest problem occurred after I had used for less than a week left wheel broke. He returned for a refund. By Chicken Lips, I bought this for my elderly mother to help with basic cleaning, since the vacuum is too heavy for her, and she can not bend your back very well to sweep regularly. For them, this sweeper is a God-send. He takes everything very well on carpets and kitchen floor naked. It's super lightweight and maneuvers easily. Also, the Amazon price half of what we saw in the store! Impressive sweeper for quick cleaning between the vacuum chambers. All 16 customer reviews ....

Very happy mom05 I the bought today, I can not tell you how wonderful it still works after several uses, but I can tell you that it worked perfectly on my absolute very yuck, kitchen dirty infested Cheerio crumbs (toddler in the house) floor. I will never again a broom and dustpan. Well, one can perhaps a broom, only to quickly find the tricks of the shark not under the cabinets (we live in an old apt which may have something to do with it) to achieve. No big deal. I just scanned in the middle of the line and then sucked all wrong with the shark. It captures much more than the method Broom / dust, even better than my Hoover on the "hard floor" setting! He is washing the old-fashioned, if not "yuck." Now I'm off to the eye of the steam mop. This is not to have any more on her hands and knees to clean floors! I tried to tape (more crumbs!) It also worked great! This product is obviously used to replace your regular vacuum, but for a fast, light, clean, and empty, "pre-clean" that does the job very well. 45 of 46 people found this review helpful. Broke after about 6 hours of light use by Robert Mirabelle is a bit 'misleading. This vaccine is very little noise and the brush piles do not really seem to do much. But then you get clean floors and carpets. It's really a great job! And 'perfect' in-between "use. I use it once or twice a week just to keep the soil in good condition. Now the bad news. Battery life seems in fact ... well ... sucks. I this little guy about 3 weeks and I can already hear the battery to lose much more quickly than the traces of the first year. Since this is not a powerful vacuum cleaner, a battery is a strong factor. There is also a label indicating the VAC to replace the battery every 9-12 months is not a good sign if you ask me. All in all I am disappointed. It's a small vacuum cleaner 'for good with a battery for a low price. With a little "luck, Shark heart and deepen these reviews will really improve battery life. If and when they do, my review goes directly to 5 stars. Update: After a total of about 6 hours of use while the unit of the rolling marble floors naked, is the main unit broken. I think it speaks to the quality of this group - so terrible? 16 of 16 people found this review helpful. The convenience is great, cleanliness is to replace Alan S. After used the product throughout my house for the first time, I find it easy and convenient. And "small enough to get under a lot of things that are hard for my real vacuum to reach. It is easy to carry upstairs. It seems to work quite well on carpet, which was a surprise. I think my ambition is done faster. I have many non-carpeted, however, and seemed a bit flawed in that I have to go over my kitchen and wood floors several times in some places to pick up dirt / dust there. My hardwood floors are wide gaps between the boards, so my regular vacuum cleaner does a good job, but the shark let more dirt in the grooves. I tried it around the litter box, and after several steps, which recovered most of the hill, with the exception of a few left in the grooves. The place did the poor were of wood on the stairs to me. They really did a lousy job, which is a shame, because this is one of the real pain is in regular use in my emptiness. I also knew that on some surfaces, such as stairs, saw the shark v1930 up much dust in the air. My regular vacuum cleaner does a much better job keeping the air clean. That said, you can save this as my go-to cleaner and save my regular vacuum for a better job of cleaning so you can get every other week or so. It's so easy to use is so quiet that I can still hear the TV or music and not disturb the rest of the family to use. This is a great advantage. We try.

Most helpful customer reviews 49 of 52 people found the following review helpful. Bissell hits another home run ... By MomAdvice I'm a big fan of Bissell products and everything I've ever been bought by the company to succeed in our house, I have. We have a Bissell Quick Steamer and Steam Mop Bissell. Both of these little sucker to get a workout in our house, but I have a cordless vacuum that I'm happy to find. We bought a shark, which I absolutely loved until it burned down two years later. The next investment was our Dirt Devil Vibe. The suction was great for about a month and it's not easy to swing. Since then I have to do with a good old fashioned broom and dustpan, but I always keep my eyes open for a cordless vacuum that works. Bissell Bissell Versus sent over their new Cordless Bare Floor vacuum cleaner and I could not wait to open it. As with any cordless vacuum requires a load before it will work, so I had to wait until the next day to be used after the load was ready to roll and had two sons and uncontrolled willing to help to break in. After a morning breakfast of cornflakes (Ethan) and Cheerios (for Emily), we had a perfect environment to test this gap. The first thing you notice about this vacuum is that it is an unusual way. The design may not make sense at first, but when you try to get in the creases of your furniture, it makes sense. There is a V-shaped design that allows you to get right to the kitchen table and chairs without having to maneuver around it. It takes a little manuevering, but when you try to get around outside the room, but just line up against the wall and pushed around like that. This vacuum has great suction and a few minutes I could see that he had gathered all the corn flakes and Cheerios just the latest Again, the design factor comes into play on this model because the V-shaped design allows so they are not things scooting around (as I had experienced with other wireless models) and sucks in the center. Although designed for bare floors, you can also use this vacuum on the carpet pile low. The brushless vacuum if you do not have to do with her hair and her son trapped underneath. Best of all, it is bagless and easy to release cup where you can download what you catch ... as Cheerios or cornflakes! I highly recommend this vacuum and can not wait for Clark to test and see if it can survive for several years hard work in our house. Here are some tips easy to choose a cordless vacuum that will be a good fit for your family: 1. You'll be much happier with what you buy if you can test drive it. Borrowed from a friend or just take a spin through the hall would be ideal if you could use, but if you can not just try to push to see if it slides easily. 2. Choose a shop that has good return policy. I knew that fate is very good about returns, so I chose that store. In the case of the shark, I read a story about a lady who lost by three in one month so it is good that the return policy would allow him to do that. 3. Online stores are large and can lower prices on these, but the plain fact is, if the defect or you just hate it, you should return. Who wants a scanner to walk to the post office? Physical stores are better in this case. 4. Sometimes extras (which cost extra) are not worth it. Stick to the basics and look at those who have the best sweeper for your money, guaranteed. 5. Like all things, not the highest price is not better. Some of the more expensive models had power far less than what I have bought 21 of 22 people found this review helpful. Orchard I thought it would be the perfect solution for the dust that accumulates every day on my hardwood floors. Initially I was impressed. The Swiffer seemed to take a lot of dust. However, I was disturbed by some plastic "vacuum" as it sometimes can scratch the floor if you are not careful. As another member wrote, would be helpful if they would put some rubber or something over the plastic vacuum. As the months went by I found that the vacuum does not seem to gather as much as it once was. I regularly clean the filter (which is a dusty mess every time I do), so do not know what is going on. Honestly, the vacuum is simply not strong enough for what I should do more. I returned to my normal vacuum "super powers" to get the job done. Pros: * Lightweight * Easy to use works very well for very small and lightweight * Easy to store Cons: * void is not as strong as I would like - a more powerful engine would be a * much in front of empty plastic can scratch the floor if * you are not careful cleaning of the filter can be a little uncomfortable and may require the Swiffer the floor after cleaning the filter! 64 of 65 people found this review helpful. Excellent when used as intended by zen118 I have five cats. That means lots of cat litter, cat food and cat hair on the floor of vinyl in my pantry. Swiffer Sweeper Vac is ideal for quick and easy to collect all of the above. It's light, and not scratch the floor. Shovel and brush is not necessary. Head turns sweeping flexible, easy to get into corners and under cabinets without any problems. Important note: In the manual accompanying the product, indicates that you must charge the battery for 24 hours before first use. Vac says will run for about 10-12 minutes a load, should be charged for 16 hours and confirm Sweeper Vac works best when it is used to completely discharge before recharging. Designed to only dry, non-liquid take. The dirt container is small. I just checked, and a measuring cup of 8 ounces dry cat litter, more than fills it. I would say is more like 4-6 oz. It does not work well on carpet. The manual suggests that the Sweeper Vac store near an outlet, where it is useful to load each time. If you are not happy with these limitations, you will not be happy with this product! The floor of my pantry is small, about 6 'X 10'. If you have a very big house, or many rooms with wood, tile or vinyl flooring, you are not satisfied with the Sweeper Vac, like many other comments. It is just not designed to run for a long time on a single charge. I suggest getting a floor cleaner. If you want something quick drying, pick-up without stooping or bending to use pan and dust brush, Swiffer Sweeper Vac could be the right thing The container removes easily to empty dirt, eg 'engages easily into place. The filter is very easy to remove and snap into place. Some of the comments other users have reported that the sweeper does not pick Vac solid pieces of cat food, only crumbs. I do not understand. Mine collects two whole pieces of dry cat food and bread crumbs. He picks up lint, cat litter and dust. He gets all the cat hair and "dust bunnies" without any problems. This is everything I wanted and expected it to do, and it does all these things quickly and easily. Replacement filters are available to the target, and several online sites. Two paintings are included in the Starter Kit Swiffer cloths are available in grocery stores, discount stores and online. Wal-Mart and Target both carry. I think that s' is used as intended is an excellent floor cleaner. I am very happy with my link to the manual: [...] 136 of 145 people found this review helpful. Better than a broom, but not eat.

By YR Wu We bought this for our first child has learned to crawl, and we had the crumbs, etc. to clean the floor before she ate. Now we are once again the need for the number two and three (now at the age of 1, 3 and 5) I like to see: 1 installed) handle and removed quickly and easily. 2) Empty weight easily on the charger - we had a couple of other hard right into the pop charger, if it is to be installed vertically. 3) Bar feed rollers - cheerios this sucks really fast, even on hard floors. 4) easily replaceable battery - charging a second charging slot so you can replace that. When I bought this at Target cashier told me it was what they used to clean up spills in the business. And 'now almost 3 years and the battery begins to show the age (it is easily removable so I will be buying a stock map) UPDATE: The original battery is still strong to remove the "Memory" I just ran down the battery between charges instead of keeping him in charge "top up" all the time. Works fine now, as new! Update2 - 5-1/2 years after the original battery is finally dead. OEM part cost me $ 19.99 including shipping, like new! Update 3 - the second battery only lasted about 2 years. I think I was lucky on the first. Just ordered replacement tonight. Yes, this is an upgrade of a product that I have purchased more than 7 years ago, no I have no interest in your purchase or not. Update 4 - during a recent trip to Montrose airport in Colorado, I noticed that they had a great car - (at least appear to be identical except for color) My guess? I would like to begin by saying that I 2 (load shedding) dog with a dog door to the courtyard and are in and out all day tracking dirt / lets in all the time. I would also say that I have all hardwood floors throughout, and were called OCD about the cleanliness of my house. Before purchasing the Bissell Versus, I had a standard (HEAVY) Steam Vac (Dirt Devil), 2 wireless vacuum (one is a shark), and two portable suction. Always on a mission to find the perfect vacuum, I sucked (pun intended) right into the infomercial on Bissell Versus. After reading the reviews online (some large, some bad), I decided what the heck .. I will give it a shot. That's what I found after using it for the first time last night: 1) Difficult to find in stores, but finally found a local destination on sale for $ 59. (Yay!) 2) Easy to assemble. Really easy 3) of the reviews said it was difficult to maneuver worried, I found it pretty easy (I'm short!) I found it not to be too "top heavy" at all. WAY easier than my normal upright vac, and "V" head makes vacuuming around tables / chairs / furniture so much easier. 4) sucked all my dog-hair Tumbleweeds without problems, no matter how big they were, including some large leaves that had fallen out of my house plants, and a (large) dead bug, which eventually turned out, when I bought this vacuum. I was also very pleased with how much dust they picked up! I personally have no problem with the air blowing around the hair / bad .. VAC sucked it up properly before it was too far away. 5) The many reviews complaining about how the cable is short, I was afraid I would spend half my time disconnect / reconnection. Although it is shorter than my normal upright vacuum cleaner is, so it was not as bad as some say. 6) The revisions also had me worried about not getting your hair from the motherboard because of the "V" from the floor - but I had no problems at all what I thought I would need to use cornerback / hose to reach from the walls, but fortunately I found that not even need it (well, only once to get behind the refrigerator). 7) I love the fact that it is bagless .. and I Love Love love the fact that it has a roll over to get their hair / wool / fuzz wrapped! I hated to try to cut / understand that the pain in my right roll. The Versus is just a big hole that everything is wrapped up! Most of the interactions I had with the ground, was to pull the skin away from the little "Rachel" thing after vacuuming was my whole house .. was 2 seconds. 8) The only thing I could find was that I tried to use it to vacuum dog hair out a few mats, but it just did not do the job. I have yet to use my tongue for one, or one of my PDAs. So needless to say .. I I highly recommend the Bissell Versus:) 61 of 64 people found this review helpful. Much better than I had expected of M. Perkins I'd give it a 4.5 if I were allowed, why not do a very low carpet, but it is a bare floor cleaner, so I will not ding it a star like whole. That is exactly what is done. I'll be honest, this void was my husband's idea. I wanted something wireless. We have new laminate floors and emptying our old 'carpet' was not working. It was just kicking dirt behind us. I have a small cordless sweeper, which is useful for small areas but not strong enough for the whole house. The Versus is. It is a little "uncomfortable to run because the front part of the large V-shaped body and swivel, but once you're used to. Okay. The head of thin vacuum is great for the crumbs that fall beneath the refrigerator and the edge the disc. The V-shaped head, kind of driving everything to the center, where the desires are strongest, and no debris is safe from this vacuum This is the absolute best for bare floors I have used. Even.

Gerrish This vacuum wireless (cordless vacuum cleaner AMO) has many positive things in their favor. It does a great job for fast (dog hair) cleanings. A good suction. Once the edges and mats. Easy to maneuver. You really are most of the furniture with no arguments or stroke, and also placed between the legs of the chair (in our house). The battery lasts. It feels important. Easy to store and off the road. A good machine. However, it is the removal of dirt is a problem. Just as the vacuum cleaner faster, there is too much hand contact with dirt. But unlike machines that have some version of a glass that can be emptied, this machine to be folded up and remains in the trash. And the weight that caused the machine feels solid, it is now unbalanced and uncomfortable and makes the earth empty worse. For some of us this is a problem, even with our Wheaties. Maybe put the machine in a plastic shopping bag on the floor and then open the ground coffee to empty, and then get my hand on the two filters to remove for cleaning? It's the answer? I do not know if somehow the ease of cleaning of the Linx Hoover can be combined with the ease of actual use of the B & O Floor vacuum rotary ("spin" because it folds in half), then I wanted to. 84 of 86 people found the following review helpful. Floor great little vac JM Daley When I recently bought this vac for touchups between regular cleaning, and I am very happy with it. With three cats at home, our main problem is that the cat hair. This vaccine is a great job of area rugs with the brush of the power, and on the bare ground with only the suction. I can see the entire ground floor of approximately 1,300 square meters for cargo displays all characters in the fall. There are no bag and is very easy to empty and clean the dust bag. The fact that no cables to deal with it very convenient is more expensive than most vacuum cleaners of this type, but it's worth, and I recommend it to anyone. 58 of 60 people found this review helpful. HELPFUL HINT TNFlower For you enjoy this vaccine for quick pickups in hardfloors and even upholstered furniture. We have two dogs that range of our landscape and planting grass incomplete. Also, I can see it regularly as do the caravan or motorhome. Being able to put in the cradle for recharging all the time without damaging the battery is a great help. TIP: I just opened the door and empty the trash unit. When you empty the container, remove the two batteries of filters. I found that a lot of land had been trapped under the filter mounting bracket. In addition, the two drums are easily removable filters are fully washable. inside the drum filter takes a while to dry, but is durable to wash in the sink of warm water and soap.

The best customer feedback 157 of 167 people found this review helpful. I had so much hope ... By Cheri In my house, vacuum twice a day. With two big dogs, hairy, and three active children, there are plenty of suck. Tired of empty container loaded with everything to get rid of the accumulation of twice daily dog hair tumbleweeds, I was looking for a cordless vacuum cleaner that can handle the tasks at home. I was hurt by the criticism and the characteristics of memory Linx Cordless Vac Hoover, but was concerned about spending about $ 200 in it. So myselves arguing with a little (and I'm the frugal-you-now) and won Frugal. I bought the shark for $ 70, and took it home to charge overnight. My 12 year old son was the first attempt with him the next morning. He had three complaints out of Block 1) you can not get under low furniture because of the design of VAC (handle is not fully recline, and the cylinder is in the way) 2) you can not brush so small that having carpets vacuumed, and 3) Ravel's dog hair around the brush in a few minutes, and thus the brush stops turning just 20 minutes have passed. We take it up again and tried the next day to see for yourself. My son was right on all fronts, have found a few more. 1) The collection cup pops up randomly, despite sitting correctly, 2) head tilts back, with little lean back in my neck, causing a large loss of suction, and 3) You can hear the engine begins to slow down within 5 minutes use, such as battery / power disappears. I have not been able to use it for more than 10 minutes without significant loss of suction. SO, at the end of this story is that I return Shark VAC, after using it for 3 weeks, and I placed my order for Linx. I guess my third "I" won, after all .. (The "you-get-what-you-pay-for" himself!) 75 of 78 people found this review helpful. "My favorite thing" by Carolyn F. Parker wireless This vacuum is wonderful and very easy to use. Suck incredible. I use it to vacuum the kitchen - put it under the cabinets and pick up everything - I have lots of dog hair. They also use it on my door mats around them on the patio. Just do not try to catch something big. I also use it on my carpet of small jobs. I do not like having to leave my Dyson, plug it in, so only small jobs. It's easy to return empty and in pop filter that I like is 2-1, and easy to dismantle and use as a handheld vacuum cleaner with a little grip. He has thrown a lot of money on similar products (the worst was the Swivel Sweeper). 60 of 62 people found this review helpful. had to have an instant by Patrick B. Mcgee incredible suction. Dirt Devil Accucharge 15.6 Volt Cordless Bagless Stick Vac with ENERGY STAR Battery Charger, BD20035RED

Dirt Devil has developed a new energy efficient ENERGY STAR qualified line of cordless cleaning products. The Accucharge System protects batteries from degradation, meaning a longer battery life and effective runtime throughout its lifetime. Now charging twice as fast-- so you won't have to wait as long between uses. Plus, special AccuCharge Circuitry constantly monitors the unit until the charge is complete and then reduces power to a trickle in order to complete and maintain the charge. This results in a reduction of energy consumption by 70%!

Amazon Sales Rank: #1498 in Home Color: Ferrari Red Brand: Dirt Devil Model: BD20035RED Number of items: 1 Dimensions: 11.00" h x 22.50" w x 7.50" l, 6.00 pounds AccuCharge Technology: Longer battery life, 2X faster charge, requires 70% less energy. Energy Star qualified Powerful 15.6 Volt Cordless Vac All Surface Cleaning: Motorized Brush for carpet cleaning and brushroll shutoff for safe bare floor cleaning Foldaway handle for convenient storage

Cordless convenience with an Energy Star rating! The AccuCharge system charges twice as fast so you can be ready for any quick pick up with 15.6 volts of cordless cleaning power. Move easily from carpet to hard floors with an on/off brushroll switch at your fingertips. When the unit is charging, the AccuCharge circuitry constantly monitors the battery. Once the battery is charged, power is reduced to a trickle to maintain the battery without drawing extra power. This remarkable system reduces energy consumption by 70% and extends the life of the battery. Product Features AccuCharge Technology Energy Star Compliant Rotating Brush 15.6 Volts Cordless Bagless Design Easy Empty Dirt Cup Lightweight - Weighs Less than 6 Pounds Swivel Head Folding Handle Allergen Filtration Traditional Ni-Cad Battery Charging Systems When traditional Ni-Cad battery systems are kept plugged into the wall, energy (or current) is constantly being pumped into the unit. Even after the battery is fully charged, it still continues to supply it energy. This sends heat to the batteries and “cooks” them, damaging the battery cells. This damage to the batteries gradually decreases run time and also wastes energy. AccuCharge™ Technology The AccuCharge system constantly monitors the unit’s batteries and charging status. This “smart charger” recognizes when the unit is fully charged and then reduces power to the unit to a trickle charge for maintenance. This prevents power and heat from constantly being pumped into the batteries and “cooking” them. AccuCharge also uses an efficient switch mode charging adaptor, which combined with AccuCharge circuitry utilizes less energy. In a recent study, the use of Dirt Devil’s acclaimed AccuCharge technology showed to maintain charge more than twice as long as regular batter charging technology. Since the AccuCharge Stick Vac can easily be set on its dock for charging, there is no need to worry about loose batteries or needing spares. ENERGY STAR certified AccuCharge technology will reduce electricity usage to only a trickle once your battery is fully charged. You can store your stick vac on the charger without having to worry about wasting energy, space, or money.

Most helpful customer reviews 225 of 227 people found the following review helpful. Stick vac! By D. Ackley I bought this in December '09 after about two weeks of the study on light VACS. I had one that could handle both: A lot of dog hair (retriever / mix tip!), Four children, the usual kitchen crumbs, carpets, hardwood floors, tiles and a very low-nap carpeting (whew!). We also have a wood stove, and often have small leaves and curls from the logs out of the house. In the past I Bissel Sweep Turbo (kept breaking) and tried Shark (new version with a broom, battery died after one year and a brush roll was so full of it, that it was difficult to try to keep it clean). Tired of the batteries die or vac die! A major problem with wireless VACS is that the battery will inevitably die out on you within one year because of "overcharging" it. I really liked that this vaccine has a "smart charger" that just makes the vaccine you need and then reduces the load to a minimum so that the battery will not charge the charger is the size of a shovel and has the vaccine in place and therefore have a place in the facility you can park. The handle folds down if that makes a difference in storage options. At first it feels "contras" plastic body a little weak, it is difficult (but possible) on actions, the whole body of the vaccine and not just rotating the nozzle while turning, and takes some getting used to, it is clear ergonomic and begin to feel the hand of the vaccine "heavy" after a while (you can still use a vacuum with a single index finger wrapped around the end of the handle and it helps). Also, if you aspire to a very dirty carpet, the dirt cup and fill up quickly give up. Now the "pros": This is really vac picks up things! I am amazed at the amount of dog hair, crumbs, etc. will pull this thing! Ideal for kitchen (Good-bye, puppy Tumbleweeds!) Scatter rugs to get clean without being sucked into the vacuum, large tiles, wood and carpet nap down brush roll I love the on / off function, so I can timber to carpet with ease. Get the clean edges too. The head of the vac is smaller than I thought, so if you can not get the clean edges to go, I get to come clean on the edge. Now things like dog food and soft air pellets (two boys) will rattle around when you vac them, so I usually end up emptying the dirt cup when that happens. Noise is moderate, is ultimately a vacuum. Noise increases a little dirt cup is full. Fully charged, initially at least six hours, and again, put it back in the charger base and it will only charge what he needs (charging light turns off when fully charged vac again). You do not have enough to bring the charge of the battery, as I try to keep his 10 minutes in continuous operation, is used, it has a two year warranty on it, which I think is above average. After my study I vac, carpet, and after each use to other floors, I use my regular vacuum cleaner really clean and large filter screen is a central concern of well-vacs with this type. This thing takes so much dirt and dog hair that I usually order at least once the dust cup is empty, if I use it on my office carpet, but not to pull my 21 - pound Sears vac is around the penalty. When the dirt cup was bigger, it would be almost perfect! I currently use Swiffer Sweeper poles for my hardwood and it looks like this Vac is within six months not to buy mines to pay all the time! So I think the only thing left to figure out now is how long it is! PS: The dirt cup release looks as if you press it down, but actually you have to push up the button, or you can break it! Also deeply patterned carpets, it is not doing a good job, but again for small rugs and everything I have mentioned, it means Hope it helps! 43 of 43 people found the following review helpful. my favorite vacuum cleaner for about 2 years now ... To love without complications The vaccine wireless stick is lightweight, compact, and has an attractive design and color! It has a convenient base station and built a hand in vaccines. The filter is easy to clean and not just one. Easy to empty container, but also an "accent" feature that helps to remove the dust filter dirty hands Awesome! The stick vacuum my apartment of 850 square meters (all wood) with a single charge, the charge of the reservation for the use of handheld vacuum trim. (I had to use it on the carpet or in larger environments, so you can not talk about your performance there). It is compact, perfect for apartment dwellers or for use in some areas under a bigger house, a kitchen, lobby areas of pet, etc. And frankly, I think it's adorable and loves the color orange - - very happy when you do mundane jobs such as vacuuming:) People should have reasonable expectations of what can make a stick vac stick vac suction power ever and a lack of normal size, and you should not expect! I keep a clean house, and vacuum once a week with my empty "ordinary", a powerful, full-size bagless upright with HEPA filter, which works very well, but it is kind of bulky and heavy for the 'everyday. I use the Ergorapido just for everyday use in the "real" vacuum chambers, to keep my place clean and tidy every day, without cat hair / litter, crumbs in the kitchen, followed in the Hall of dirty shoes, etc. - - and it works awesome for this purpose. I did not expect to do the work of a wire full-size vacuum - - but it is great for everyday use to clean up the mess and dust here and there. Stick vacs I owned in the past and were disappointed with their performance (Dirt Devil "Vac-n-Mop" = horrible!) But until now this product is much better! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a handy, easy to use and elegant lightweight vacuum cleaner or between "ordinary". 138 of 141 people found this review helpful. Get the job done very well by Chelsea Liddle I bought this after loving and then be disappointed with my Swivel Sweeper, which scratched my hardwood floors and put together cheaply. Second time around, so I went for something a bit 'more expensive, was hoping it would be a better product and designed to last. This gap seems to fit the bill in many ways. THE GOOD: It seems to be well made and durable, with perfectly fitting parts together and beautiful details that really shows that there was no time to develop it. I love the fact that he turns his head around (not 360 as Swivel Sweeper, but moves very well) Emptying of the remains is a total breeze, and easily snaps in and out. The weight of what it really feels good - which is robust - but not at all complicated or heavy. I use it often and never run out of energy, so that seems to have a good charge. It does a good job of picking up along the edge of the wall. The built-in hand vacuum options are good to go into the corners, doing detail work along the walls, cleaning stairs, chairs, etc. and has a stronger suction, so that can be used to absorb large issues of emptiness won not pick up. Simply press two latches on the sides and the handheld is displayed on the front. The bad: I wish he would stand by itself. It was designed to protect the cargo unit is ideal for uploading, but II would like to stand alone without the device. I wish my head was a little bigger, because I do like my entire first floor with hardwood takes a while, finally and most importantly, I wish it had better sucking power. It makes a pretty good job of picking up crumbs, dirt, etc., but generally can not pick up larger objects like a Cheerio. At one point, it immediately over the top.

LINX Cordless Becker Hoover List (Model BH50010) Vac $ 179.99 (3/17/09) Pros: Cleans well - on / off brushroll bare floor or carpet / rugs, pet hair, excellent control on the handle - Easy to use indicator load cup powdered accurate and useful, easy to empty and clean (including the baffle tube when necessary) filter for easy cleaning is to save Pros: Goofy on the stairs - a stairway sleeve, should support from below. I'm getting used to it, and it's easier if I use my strong hand of the machine and the weaker side to hold it. CONCLUSION: Platinum Hoover CSV is absolutely shines in two areas: ease of use (the change of brushroll brushroll out, go between the height and type of surface), and the ability to clean, especially the difficult maneuver to get the animal hair carpets. Words to the wise: I have this information from Hoover after my defective battery: Do not store the battery in the charger (stores it in the charger, just remove it from the charger when I used it.) There is nothing in the directions of respect, but storage in the charger can cause it to fail. It's okay to leave several hours or overnight, but after removal from the charger and place it in a vacuum. The battery will hold a full charge no matter how much time is stored in a vacuum. (. Thanks to the 2-year warranty on the battery, which sends me a new free of charge) Read on if you're interested in more detailed comments: Price: I'm sure that eventually the price will be discounted or be available in the list at $ 179 . I know that platinum Hoover bag light on the vertical (a different model in this line), originally listed for $ 399 is available online for $ 300 now. (November 12, 2009 edit: the price finally fell in the range of $ 150!) Battery life: Battery life is pretty good, and I like the look of "consistency" of the product - it works at full power for all 'time to work much better and much faster than my old vacuum cleaner and are more than satisfied, as it can get everything I want to do on a single charge. Function Bagless: I think I finally understand why they are so popular bagless, although more work: there is something so satisfying to see how much dirt and hair that company withdrew from the floor. But however satisfying it is to see what you deleted, you create an extra step that you must almost every time you use a bagless vacuum - ALL bagless vac - if you want to maintain its cleaning power. With my previous stick vac, emptied the cup fine dust, but I had to pull dust from the filter with my fingers to prepare for the next use, and occasionally another cleaner used to clean the filter because it was not Hoover Washable CSV Platinum is very easy to empty and clean. The dust cup empties from the bottom, the baffle tube is easy to remove the dust cup assembly, if necessary (that is, if you have several girls with long hair), and the filter can be exhausted with a dry toothbrush and washed as needed. Long hair tends to wind around the tube baffle (not part of the bag). Fortunately it is easy to remove for emptying the dust cup. Carpet Cleaning: I have used (and liked, and still think it's a good shot vacuum, but with restrictions) Eureka The Boss Lite Cordless (96 b) 96 Eureka Vacuum Stick B fast upright cordless battery (rated 4 ½ stars on Amazon ) for years on my hardwood floors and carpet cleaning faster, so I have a basis for comparison, on the bare floor of my old Boss Lite was great, but better than anything on the carpet. (I used to kneel down and clean the surface with a damp sponge to get the hair from my carpets because the brush roll-on was not up to Eureka.) Comparison Hoover Cordless Stick Vac Platinum.
