Orchard I thought it would be the perfect solution for the dust that accumulates every day on my hardwood floors. Initially I was impressed. The Swiffer seemed to take a lot of dust. However, I was disturbed by some plastic "vacuum" as it sometimes can scratch the floor if you are not careful. As another member wrote, would be helpful if they would put some rubber or something over the plastic vacuum. As the months went by I found that the vacuum does not seem to gather as much as it once was. I regularly clean the filter (which is a dusty mess every time I do), so do not know what is going on. Honestly, the vacuum is simply not strong enough for what I should do more. I returned to my normal vacuum "super powers" to get the job done. Swiffer Sweeper Vac is ideal for quick and easy to collect all of the above. It's light, and not scratch the floor. Shovel and brush is not necessary. Head turns sweeping flexible, easy to get into corners and under cabinets without any problems. Important note: In the manual accompanying the product, indicates that you must charge the battery for 24 hours before first use. Vac says will run for about 10-12 minutes a load, should be charged for 16 hours and confirm Sweeper Vac works best when it is used to completely discharge before recharging. Designed to only dry, non-liquid take. The dirt container is small. I just checked, and a measuring cup of 8 ounces dry cat litter, more than fills it. I would say is more like 4-6 oz. It does not work well on carpet. The manual suggests that the Sweeper Vac store near an outlet, where it is useful to load each time. If you are not happy with these limitations, you will not be happy with this product! The floor of my pantry is small, about 6 'X 10'. If you have a very big house, or many rooms with wood, tile or vinyl flooring, you are not satisfied with the Sweeper Vac, like many other comments. It is just not designed to run for a long time on a single charge. I suggest getting a floor cleaner. If you want something quick drying, pick-up without stooping or bending to use pan and dust brush, Swiffer Sweeper Vac could be the right thing The container removes easily to empty dirt, eg 'engages easily into place. The filter is very easy to remove and snap into place. Some of the comments other users have reported that the sweeper does not pick Vac solid pieces of cat food, only crumbs. I do not understand. Mine collects two whole pieces of dry cat food and bread crumbs. He picks up lint, cat litter and dust. He gets all the cat hair and "dust bunnies" without any problems.
